About The Mill Coffee

Introducing The Mill Coffee Restaurant is easy because it feels like one of those places that instantly explains itself the moment you walk in. Located at 330 S 21st St in Lincoln, Nebraska, The Mill Coffee has that relaxed, lived-in coffee shop vibe that makes you want to slow down without even trying. I usually describe it as the kind of spot where mornings stretch a little longer and afternoons don’t feel rushed. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee sets the tone right away, and from there, everything feels casual, warm, and welcoming. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick caffeine boost or planning to stay awhile, The Mill Coffee makes both options feel equally natural. There’s comfortable indoor seating for settling in with a laptop or a book, and outdoor seating when the weather cooperates, which adds to its neighborhood charm. Service options are flexible too, so you can grab takeaway on busy days or enjoy dine-in service when you have more time to spare. What really stands out is how broad the offerings are for a coffee shop. Alongside quality coffee, you’ll find beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits, which gives the place an easy transition from daytime hangout to early evening stop. Happy-hour food and prepared foods make it a solid option for a quick bite, especially if you’re meeting friends or need something simple but satisfying. Vegetarian options are available as well, which makes it feel inclusive without trying too hard. The Mill Coffee doesn’t come across as trendy for the sake of it; instead, it feels confident in what it offers and how it serves the community. It’s the kind of place people recommend naturally, not because they’re searching for something flashy, but because it consistently delivers a comfortable experience built around good drinks, approachable food, and an atmosphere that feels familiar even on your first visit.

I love trying a new tea everytime I come in! The coffees are also pretty good. I wish the wine selection had a bit more to offer though. Great place to read a book or even have book discussions. Not so great for studying because it can get loud at times.

We stopped in for a drink. Convenient and quaint. It was our second time here. The first time was just for coffee and left. This time we sat and had a drink. Very extensive collection of drinks. Yes, a bit pricey! But, worth it if you want that atmosphere and convenience.

very laid back atmosphere, easy to bring your laptop and work there, or just for a date or a quick drink. prices are fair and they have an interesting selection of loose teas and coffee beans to buy

My family and I stopped in after visiting the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln, we opted for a cool treat at The Mill. My Dad and friend each got iced beverages while I enjoyed a cold tequila cocktail crafted onsite. The setting is quite large yet cozy; I definitely can see spending long periods of time in the cafe working, reading, and/or just relaxing. This location is very good!

The Mill Coffee is a fantastic spot for studying and working in a cozy environment. Their in-house bar adds to the charm of this place. While there's a minor issue with one lady bartender who may not allow laptop use at the bar, the rest of the staff is exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Great atmosphere and excellent coffee. The Mill Coffee is a top choice for a productive and enjoyable workspace.

Best place to study! Come in here all the time to get work done/ type up essay papers. Cheap and cheesy food, pair it with their coffee and it’s amazing. Definitely recommend to come in for a bite or coffee, or just to check out the aesthetic!
